We are using Reference Web Poster to make this bibliographic database available on the web. You will be taken to Search Screen by clicking the link below.

Enter the Snow Leopard Bibliography

Instructions

At the search screen you will be prompted for a subject, author, article title, or key word. Try to be as specific as possible. Once your search results appear, select the paper icon to the far left to view the complete reference and to access full text options. If the reference has a URL listed, the document is available in full text. Simply click on the URL to pull up the full text. Adobe Reader is needed to view the documents. If you do not have this software, you can download it for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

Search results are currently exportable into most commonly used bibliographic formats (Reference Manager, MEDLARS, and RIS). The "Help" features found within the Reference Web Poster search interface should be able to answer most of your questions, but if you require additional help, please email us at info@snowleopard.org.

If you would like a full listing of all the references in the database, type 'browse' in the search line. Reference Web Poster limits a maximum of 350 references to be viewed at any one time.

Disclaimer

The SLN has compiled over 450 references and more than 200 full text documents, primarily of scientific nature, concerning the snow leopard and its habitat. This information has been compiled for the sole purpose of sharing and making the information more easily available to concerned individuals and our researchers overseas. Some of the full text documents were scanned and converted from hard copies using OCR software to save space on our server when electronic copies where not available. This process may have left some errors in the text which do not reflect upon the authors, but rather are a result of the conversion process alone. These documents are intended for reference only, as the OCR conversion process may have affected results presented in charts and graphs.
